Standard with Cooler Lease commercial rental units

Mobile Walk-In Cooler Trailer Amenities

Every standard Cooler Lease commercial rental unit is built around visibility, safety, adjustable cold storage, responsive support, and efficient loading—because a rental should deliver more than extra refrigerated space.

Included with every standard commercial rental unit

More than a mobile walk-in cooler rental

Cooler Lease standard amenities support safer access, efficient loading, temperature control, and responsive rental operations from delivery through pickup.

Cooler Lease Dual Door™ access & security

Every Cooler Lease rental trailer includes an ultra-heavy-duty fold-down ramp for convenient walk-in cooler access. When closed and secured as instructed, the outer ramp door adds a second physical barrier in front of the inner cooler door. Easy access while loading; an added layer of security when closed.

Super-bright LED interior lighting

Bright interior LED strip lighting with occupancy sensors helps crews see products, labels, shelving, and the loading path while reducing unnecessary lighting energy use.

Rear-facing LED exterior work lights

Ultra-bright, rear-facing LED work lights add visibility around the ramp and rear work area for safer, easier product flow during daytime, nighttime, and early-morning access.

Door-side fire extinguisher

A fire extinguisher is mounted on the door side of every standard commercial rental unit for clear, convenient access. Site operators remain responsible for their own required safety plan and inspections.

Adjustable 0–50°F temperature range

Easy-to-adjust controls support cooler, near-freezing, and moderate-temperature applications across a nominal 0–50°F operating range. Actual performance depends on load, ambient conditions, door activity, power, and setup.

24/7 Cooler Lease service and support

Customers have access to Cooler Lease service and support around the clock for rental-unit questions and time-sensitive operating concerns. Response and on-site service timing vary by location and conditions.

Quick deployment, including possible same-day delivery

When inventory, route capacity, site readiness, power, and rental terms align, deployment may be available as soon as the same day. Availability is confirmed during rental intake.

One wheel chock for every tire

A wheel chock is provided for every trailer tire. The full set must remain correctly positioned at all times while the rental is parked or deployed—no exceptions. Intentional unauthorized removal is a material safety breach and grounds for immediate rental termination without refund, subject to the rental agreement and applicable law.

Cooler Lease Dual Door™

Easy access. An extra layer of security.

An ultra-heavy-duty fold-down ramp comes standard with every Cooler Lease rental trailer. It provides convenient access to the walk-in cooler during loading. Raise and secure the outer ramp door as instructed, and it becomes an additional physical barrier in front of the separate inner cooler door.

Two doors. One thoughtful design. Practical loading access and added protection for your cooler entrance, included with your rental.

Ramp use & secure closing

Follow the assigned unit’s posted ramp load rating and operating instructions. Confirm suitability before using carts or pallet handling equipment. Keep all required exit paths clear; never close or lock the outer door in a way that could trap a person inside. Dual Door adds a barrier but does not guarantee theft prevention.

Optional power equipment

Gasoline and diesel generators available for an added fee

Compatible gasoline- and diesel-powered generators may be added to a rental for an additional quoted fee, subject to availability. Generators are delivered with a documented full tank. The customer maintains fuel during the rental and returns the unit full; returns below full are subject to the rental agreement’s $10-per-gallon refueling service charge and five-gallon/$50 minimum.

Propane-fueled generator models are planned for a future release but are not currently available and have no promised launch date. This is separate from R-290 refrigerant used in select purpose-designed refrigeration systems.

Refrigerant and EPA context

R-290: lower climate impact and efficient cooling potential

R-290 is propane used as a refrigerant. It is a different chemical from refrigerants commonly associated with the Freon brand name, and it requires equipment designed and labeled specifically for R-290.

R-290 has zero ozone-depletion potential and very low global-warming potential (GWP). EPA’s comparison lists its GWP at 3, versus 3,922 for R-404A. That describes the refrigerant’s warming effect per unit of mass, not the total footprint of a rental.

Purpose-designed R-290 systems can support energy-efficient cooling. Actual electricity use depends on the equipment, insulation, outdoor temperature, set point, loading and door activity. Request model-specific energy data when comparing options; refrigerant choice alone does not establish a savings percentage.

See EPA’s refrigerant GWP comparison

Select or specially configured Cooler Lease equipment may use R-290; this is not a fleet-wide claim. The assigned unit may use another refrigerant appropriate to its design and intended application. When refrigerant type matters to a project, ask the rental team to confirm the exact unit before delivery.

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency evaluates refrigerant substitutes through its Significant New Alternatives Policy program. EPA lists R-290 as acceptable for certain refrigeration end uses subject to use conditions, including equipment design, charge, ventilation, space, warning, and marking requirements. Cooler Lease equipment must be operated and serviced according to its labeling, manufacturer instructions, and applicable federal, state, and local requirements.

Rental amenity questions

Standard equipment FAQs

What is the Cooler Lease Dual Door system?

Cooler Lease Dual Door™ combines the trailer’s ultra-heavy-duty outer fold-down ramp door with the separate inner cooler door. Lowered, the ramp provides convenient access. Closed and secured as instructed, the outer door adds a second physical barrier in front of the cooler entrance. Keep required exit paths clear and never secure an occupied unit in a way that could trap someone.

Is an access ramp included with every refrigerated trailer rental?

Yes. Every Cooler Lease rental trailer includes an ultra-heavy-duty fold-down access ramp. Follow the assigned trailer’s posted ramp capacity and loading instructions; pallet jacks, carts and other handling equipment require suitability confirmation before use.
