Start here
- Limit door openings and follow the facility's food-safety or product-handling procedure.
- Record discovery time, displayed temperature, alarms, affected zones and product condition.
- Photograph the controller, equipment, room, inventory and any visible cause before conditions change.
- Contact the refrigeration contractor and start checking temporary cold-storage availability in parallel.
Facts to confirm before dispatch
- Target temperature and whether the product is refrigerated or frozen
- Estimated cases, pallets, carts, shelves or cubic capacity
- Placement surface, access route, clearance and loading workflow
- Exact electrical service and whether a generator may be needed
- Requested start time and realistic repair or replacement window
Do not move product into temporary storage until the receiving unit is operating at the required temperature and the facility has accepted it under its own procedure.
