The assigned unit, startup load, cable run, fuel plan, weather, monitoring and qualified connection all need to match the rental.
Start here
- Tell Cooler Lease whether utility power, a customer generator or a rental generator is expected.
- Confirm the assigned unit’s voltage, phase, amperage and startup requirements.
- Identify generator placement, exhaust clearance, fuel access, cable route and weather protection.
- Assign someone to monitor fuel, runtime, alarms and escalation contacts.
Facts to confirm before dispatch
- Generator capacity and startup load
- Fuel type, refill schedule and operating checks
- Cable distance, protection and qualified connection
- Noise, exhaust, weather and security
- Redundant or independent power needs
- Transfer back to permanent power
Knowledge base FAQ
Are Cooler Lease rentals generator-ready?
Cooler Lease rentals can be planned as generator-ready when temporary power is needed. The actual generator must match the assigned unit and site requirements.
What generator information should I provide?
Provide generator size, voltage, phase, fuel type, expected cable distance, placement area, refill plan and who will monitor it.
Can generator power support redundant refrigeration?
Yes, but redundant refrigeration may need independent circuits or separate generator planning. The failure scenario should be defined before equipment is selected.
