Portable trailer refrigeration

Mobile Walk-In Cooler Rental

Mobile walk-in cooler trailer rentals for commercial operations that need temporary refrigeration at the point of use.

Rental planning

Storage that fits your site

Mobile walk-in cooler trailers can create temporary refrigerated space close to the kitchen, receiving area, or work zone. The parking surface, tow route, reinforced ramp, electrical service, temperature, and staff workflow are reviewed before dispatch.

What we need to confirm

Provide the delivery address, requested start date, target temperature, product type, approximate volume, rental duration, site photos, trailer parking dimensions, tow-route and turning limitations, reinforced-ramp landing area, and electrical details. The written quote identifies the offered trailer and every site assumption.

Delivery and operation

Delivery timing is based on fleet availability, route, trailer size, site readiness, and scheduling. Do not relocate sensitive inventory until the trailer is parked and stabilized, the ramp is deployed safely, electrical service is connected as required, the unit is operating at the intended temperature, and it has been accepted under your facility's procedure.

Frequently asked questions

Does submitting a rental request guarantee equipment?

No. Submitting a request does not guarantee equipment, reserve a rental, lock pricing, or promise delivery timing. Every request is subject to availability, route timing, site readiness, power, and written rental terms.

When is a Cooler Lease rental actually confirmed?

A rental is confirmed only after Cooler Lease reviews availability and site fit, provides written terms, and the required authorization or agreement is completed. Until then, the submission is an availability request only.

When will Cooler Lease respond after a rental request?

Cooler Lease reviews rental requests and gets back with next steps within 24 business hours. Urgent timing is still subject to current equipment availability, routing, site readiness, power, and written confirmation.

Can Cooler Lease help with same-day or next-day emergency cold storage?

Urgent requests may be reviewed as fast as same day or as soon as next day when equipment, routing, power, site access, placement permission and written rental terms can be confirmed. Same-day or next-day service is not guaranteed until accepted in writing.

What electrical connection do most rental units need?

Most rentals use 1- or 2-point plug connections, and some configurations are single-point. The written offer confirms voltage, phase, amperage, plug or disconnect type, cable distance, and who is responsible for the connection.

Do Cooler Lease rentals use R-290 compliant refrigerant?

Select or specially configured equipment may use R-290 compliant refrigerant systems. Cooler Lease does not make a blanket refrigerant claim for every unit; the assigned unit's refrigerant, labeling, service requirements and operating limits are confirmed when relevant to the rental.

Why does R-290 refrigerant matter for cold storage rentals?

R-290 is a natural propane refrigerant with very low global-warming potential and zero ozone-depletion potential. Purpose-designed systems can support efficient cooling, although energy use depends on the model and operating conditions. It is flammable and requires properly designed equipment and qualified service. Confirm availability for the assigned unit.

Is R-290 refrigerant the same as Freon?

No. R-290 is propane used as a refrigerant. It is not the same chemical as refrigerants commonly associated with the Freon brand name. Ask for the assigned unit's refrigerant information if the project has compliance or procurement requirements.

Can Cooler Lease rentals run on a generator?

Yes. Cooler Lease rentals are planned as generator-ready when temporary power is needed. The written offer should confirm the assigned unit, startup load, generator size, fuel plan, cable distance, connection responsibility and monitoring procedure.

What is redundant backup refrigeration?

Redundant backup refrigeration adds a second cooler, freezer, combination unit, standby path or separated inventory plan to reduce exposure if primary refrigeration fails. It is especially useful for restaurants, grocery, catering, food distribution and other high-value food inventory.

Does Cooler Lease offer modular roll-off cold storage?

Yes. Cooler Lease reviews modular one-piece roll-off cold storage in 10 x 10, 10 x 20 and 10 x 30 sizes. Modular one-piece units include insulated floors and access ramps, with special sizes and configurations available by written review.

Can modular roll-off cold storage be placed outdoors?

Outdoor modular models may be reviewed when the site provides level ground, safe access, drainage, security, power or generator planning, and enough truck approach for placement and removal. Outdoor placement is confirmed in writing for the offered unit and site.

What access does a modular roll-off delivery require?

The site must be easily accessible by a 36-foot flatbed roll-off truck unless Cooler Lease confirms a different delivery method in writing. The route should account for gates, turns, overhead clearance, surface strength, grade, staging room and safe departure.

Does the modular unit include a floor and ramp?

Modular one-piece cold-storage units include insulated floors and access ramps. The customer still needs to confirm level ground, safe ramp landing, cart or pallet workflow, door swing, lighting, power, security and site acceptance before loading inventory.

What is a ready-site checklist for temporary cold storage?

A ready site has a confirmed address, level placement area, clear truck route, safe ramp landing, approved power or generator plan, security, drainage, product-transfer plan, responsible site contact and written acceptance procedure before inventory is moved.

Can Cooler Lease provide trailers and modular models for the same project?

Yes. Some projects are best served by a refrigerated trailer, some by a modular one-piece roll-off, and some by multiple units. Cooler Lease reviews the product, volume, site, access, power, rental term and redundancy needs before recommending a format.

What site details should be ready for Mobile Walk-In Cooler Rental?

Be ready to share the delivery address, placement surface, route access, gate and overhead clearance, trailer parking length, ramp landing area, electrical service, product type, target temperature, and requested rental dates.

Can Cooler Lease help choose between a cooler, freezer, and combination unit?

Yes. The right rental depends on product temperature, volume, door traffic, loading workflow, available power, space, and whether refrigerated and frozen products need separate zones.

Does Cooler Lease have offices in every city or county listed?

No. Cooler Lease is based in Johnson City, Tennessee. City, county, and state pages describe real regional delivery coverage reviewed from our East Tennessee headquarters, with the Abingdon Virginia Service Hub supporting logistics where useful.

Can rental paperwork support an insurance claim?

Yes. Cooler Lease can provide available rental estimates, invoices, delivery and pickup records, and equipment details for claim files. Coverage decisions and payment authorization remain with the policy and carrier.

Are short-term and long-term rentals available?

Yes. Rental terms are reviewed for breakdowns, events, remodels, seasonal demand, planned projects, and longer temporary-storage needs, subject to availability and written rental terms.
